By purchasing a casual class, weekly subscription, and/or entering our studio online, you agree to our Terms and Conditions.

Upon request we can provide you with a hard copy – please ask one of our centre staff to assist you.

Our T&C’S can be amended at any time. You should familiarise yourself with these T&C’S and check for updates regularly. We will not notify you in writing of any changes to the T&C’S by e-mail, on our website or otherwise at the Centre. 

General Conditions of Entry ~ Applicable to all online Classes or Workshops

Every possible effort is made to deliver classes and services on time as advertised. Class Schedules are subject to change or cancellation however we are not required to provide notice to you of such changes. All purchases are final and Great Ocean Healing Centre (GOHC) does not offer refunds on services or products for change of mind, injury, illness, change of address or any other reason including change of schedule or if you are unable to attend a class because it is at capacity.

All subscriptions are non-transferable or interchangeable.

We reserve our right to change our opening hours on any given day without notice to you. You will be notified of any permanent changes to our opening hours.

You must present, if requested, your valid photo identification or identify via video on screen, to staff upon entry to GOHC. We reserve the right to refuse entry to any persons without suitable ID.

GOHC reserves the right to refuse entry to, or eject you from our premises or online class forum, in the event that you are behaving in an anti-social, intoxicated, disorderly, aggressive, offensive or dangerous manner or in any manner which impacts the security of our students or other people at the centre.

To ensure the least amount of disruption to our students, once a Zoom class begins the Mute All button will be clicked by the teacher.  We recommend that you arrive at least 10-15 minutes before the scheduled time of a class to avoid disappointment or difficulty in connecting. 

Fit for Purpose Conditions

All the teachers at GOHC are qualified yoga instructors and Level 2 First Aid. To insure that your risk of injury is minimised during your participation in class we require you to follow the instructions of our teachers.

If at any time during the class, you feel discomfort or strain, gently come out of the posture. You may rest at any time during the class. It is important in yoga that you listen to your body, and respect its limits on any given day. You understand that yoga includes physical movements as well as an opportunity for relaxation, stress re-education and relief of muscular tension. As is the case with any physical activity, the risk of injury, even serious or disabling, is always present and cannot be entirely eliminated. If you experience any pain or discomfort, you will listen to your body, discontinue the activity, and ask for support from the instructor. You will continue to breathe smoothly. You assume full responsibility for any and all damages, which may incur through participation. You understand that Yoga is not a substitute for medical attention, examination, diagnosis or treatment. Yoga is not recommended and is not safe under certain medical conditions. By clicking accept, you affirm that a licensed physician has verified your good health and physical condition to participate in such a fitness program, if required. In addition, you will make the instructor aware of any medical conditions or physical limitations before class. If you are pregnant, become pregnant or you are post-natal or post-surgical, clicking accept, verifies that you have your physician’s approval to participate. You also affirm that you alone are responsible to decide whether to practice yoga and participation is at your own risk. You hereby agree to irrevocably release and waive any claims that you have now or may have hereafter against Great Ocean Healing Centre and all related facilities and premises for any personal injury or negligence. Additionally, the facility, instructor and Great Ocean Healing Centre are not in any way responsible for any loss or damage of your personal property. Those under 18 years of age must have permission from a parent or guardian. If any portion of this release from liability shall be deemed by a Court of competent jurisdiction to be invalid, then the remainder of this release from liability shall remain in full force and effect and the offending provision or provisions severed here from.  You have carefully read and fully understand and agree to the above terms of this Liability Waiver Agreement. You are clicking accept, for this agreement voluntarily and recognise that my acceptance serves as complete and unconditional release of all liability to the greatest extent allowed by law and that it cannot be changed orally. 

Weekly Subscription & Pricing Conditions

Weekly Subscription is automatic direct debit, and can be cancelled at any time by either GOHC or the student.  In order to obtain a subscription, you must be 18 years of age or over. Minors aged over 15 years and under 18 years may obtain a subscription, but only if their parent or guardian have provided consent.

Weekly Subscriptions are available to patrons of our centre for personal use only. Weekly Subscriptions may not be shared or transferred for any reason at any time. Anyone sharing Weekly Subscriptions  or the recording of classes, does so expressly without the consent of GOHC and will be denied all future entry and forfeit their Weekly Subscription.

We have the right to change our fees for Weekly Subscriptions  at any time. We will notify you of any changes to the pricing of  Weekly Subscriptions  in writing.  You, as the student, authorise GOHC to debit fee amount from your nominated bank account. If you do not agree to any pricing changes, you may cancel at any time. Please notify us of this cancellation request via email.

Casual Classes

The activation date is the date of the first class booked or attended on the pass.

No refunds, transfers, suspensions or extensions are offered due to illness, injury, change of address or any other reason. Multiple casual classes can be purchased simultaneously. 

Weekly fees will be charged via your authorised automatic credit/debit card or nominated bank account by our nominated third party payment provider. It is the holder’s responsibility to ensure there are sufficient funds available in their nominated bank account or credit card to cover the applicable fees for the direct debit memberships. You will be notified if your credit card or bank account payment fails to authorise for any reason, and a late fee will apply if a valid credit card or authorised bank account is not provided within 7 calendar days of the original rejection date. This fee is charged directly and will not be absorbed by GOHC. 

By creating a direct debit subscription, the holder agrees to the terms and conditions of our third party biller, currently Square. 

Classes, Workshops and Events have no refunds, cancellations, exchanges or transfers.

Class Attendance & Cancellation Conditions

You must pre-book your attendance to any GOHC classes using the online booking system available on our website or FACEBOOK PAGE. 

Class Cancellation must be made via the online booking system up to 60 minutes prior to a class start time with out penalty. Cancellations will not be accepted via phone or email.

We understand that late class cancellations can sometimes be inevitable. As such:

For casual classes, if you fail to attend a class that you have booked, or cancel within 60 minutes of that class you will still be charged.

Contact & Privacy Conditions

Please inform us when your contact details change so we can keep in touch with you.

GOHC complies with the Privacy Act. If you wish to request access to your personal information, correct or update your details or raise any privacy concerns you may have, please contact us at greatoceanhealingcentre@gmail.com

GOHC uses a third party software provider known as Acuity. In order to create a weekly subscription, your personal information will be provided to the proprietor of Acuity. The collection and use of personal information by Acuity is governed by Acuity's privacy policy.

Our Liability

Great Ocean Healing Centre and its Representatives will not be liable and excludes all liability under these Terms and Conditions or in any other way for all injury, illness, damage or loss of any kind whatsoever directly or indirectly sustained by you in relation to participating in any class. You hereby agree to release Great Ocean Healing Centre and its Representatives from all claims relating to a Weekly Subscription, participating in any Class or from otherwise entering the Centre, in person or online.
